Julian Dwyer is a professional illustrator specializing in portraiture, known for work that emphasizes character, clarity, and narrative presence. After returning to illustration during the pandemic following a 30-year hiatus, he has steadily rebuilt and expanded his portfolio through disciplined practice and commissioned work.

In addition to portraits, Julian has experience in editorial illustration and comic book illustration, bringing strong storytelling and compositional skills to each project. His work has received industry recognition, including being named a Finalist at the SOHO International Film Festival for the film We Dare Not Fail: The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen, which is preserved in the Library of Congress. The Society of Illustrators has also featured his illustrations.
